Climate Pollution Reduction Grants

The American Samoa Telecommunications Authority (ASTCA) is excited to share news about the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA), which is now allocating funds towards Climate Pollution Reduction Grants. These grants are designed to significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions and are specifically available to U.S. territories. This initiative supports efforts to reduce climate pollution, stimulate job growth, address environmental inequities, and improve air quality in the territories. The American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) is encouraged to submit proposals for pollution reduction projects eligible for this funding.
