What is Lifeline?
Lifeline is a federal program that permits eligible low-income customers to receive a monthly discount on their telephone service.

How much can I save?

A consumer may save up to $5.25 on their basic telephone bill.

  • ORIGINAL LANDLINE: $17.26
  • LANDLINE WITH LIFELINE: $10.25

*Note: Installation fees and Wi-Fi/internet fees are not included.

Are YOU eligible?

You can get Lifeline if you (or someone in your household) participates in any of the following programs:

  1. ASNAP - American Samoa Nutrition Assistance Program
  2. Medicaid
  3. Public Housing Assistance
  4. Federal Veterans Affairs Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension

You can sign up for Lifeline if your income is 135% or less than the Federal Poverty Guideline.

Qualify Through Your Child or Dependent

You can sign up for Lifeline if your child or dependent participates in any of the programs listed above.

Lifeline is Limited to ONE PER HOUSEHOLD

Only one Lifeline Program discount (one telephone line) is allowed per household. The definition of a household is anyone living at an address (including children, relatives, people not related to you, etc.) who share income(s) and household expenses.
