Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

This letter is to inform you that the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provided discounts on your broadband service and for certain devices, is anticipated to end in April 2024. The ACP was intended to assist in providing access to quality internet services through providing needs based discounts. However, the program was due to end when funding ran out and no further funding has been allocated to ACP by the Federal Government. In accordance with guidance from the FCC, the agency responsible for administering the program, the last day to accept applications for ACP is February 7, 2024 by 11:59 PM EST. For those customers that have received benefi ts prior to that date, the benefits will continue until the program close in April 2024. As the program ends, this means your future bills will be impacted. ACP discounted broadband plans by $30.00. Depending on your selected plan, the amount you pay monthly will increase to the following:

The last bill with the discounted rates will likely be sent in April 2024. Should there be any update on the pro- gram’s ending, ASTCA will notify you. We understand the loss of this discount may be a hardship on you and your family. Should you choose to change your service plan or opt-out of continuing with service, you may do so without penalty. The FCC does require that if you want to continue service, you must inform ASTCA. Since this is a Federal Program, ASTCA is unable to continue providing this discount. As the program ends, the FCC will be providing more updates and ASTCA is required to send further notices, so it is important to check your emails for more important information.
